About The Historic Frog Level Merchant Association

This website was developed in order to provide its visitors and readers with information about the Historic Frog Level section of Waynesville, NC, located in Haywood County, NC.

There is so much rich history in our part of Western North Carolina, and yet so few of our residents, and even fewer of our visitors know about the history of Frog Level and its significance in the growth and prosperity of Waynesville. See Waynesville history!

We want this website to be informative, useful, educational, and hopefully draw visitors and residents alike to visit its businesses, shops and restaurants and learn to appreciate its unique culture and attraction in this beautiful area of the Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge Mountains.

We also hope to promote the merchants of Historic Frog Level and Frog Level Shopping District and encourage our residents to buy local, and buy American made products whenever possible.
